From The Owner
Don’t just hire a handyman; hire an accessibility expert!
My journey into Occupational Therapy began over 25 years ago at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in New York. In 2003, I relocated to Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and established myself as a trusted expert in various settings. Over time, I noticed that many of my patients struggled to implement necessary home modifications due to a lack of knowledgeable professionals in the community. I decided to address this need by starting Home Modification Solutions (HMS). I am dedicated to promoting aging in place for people of all ages and abilities, ensuring everyone can live independently, safely, and comfortably in their homes.
I look forward to applying my skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of those I serve!

I am a retired Physical Therapist Assistant. My wife and I moved into a new home. Our old house had a couple of grab bars in the master shower, and I wanted them in our new home. Leo did an excellent job installing grab bars in our new place. As an Occupational Therapist, he helped me make educated decisions about the grab bars so they would be most helpful and complement the decor! He was very professional and my wife was amazed at his tidiness when he was finished. I highly recommend his services and am glad he was available for my new home.

Before my husband’s discharge from the hospital last year, I had been advised to install safety aids in our apartment, e.g., bathroom grab bars, glass shower doors removed, and an extra shower hose installed at arm’s length for ease of use. I was overwhelmed and concerned about who to trust. Leo was highly recommended to us, and his kindness and experience quickly allayed all our apprehensions. He did an outstanding job installing all the safety features for my husband! Incidentally, a recent accident required me to utilize everything he installed. What a blessing they were already there for me also!
Thank you, Leo!
